Sunday School – The Children’s Sunday School
Planning Committee met on February 23, 2002 and has begun developing
a belief statement. The
belief statement will be used as the foundation for the Children’s
Curriculum. We are
seeking your feedback and support in this important endeavor.
The belief statement is as follows:
We believe . . .

that children are the future of Broad Street and are
important as individuals.

that, as a church, we must be committed to provide the
structure and training necessary to aim children toward a life-long
walk in relationship with God.

the Bible is the basic building block of instruction
for children and the source for strength through life.

that children must be active participants in church
life and servants of God.

that music, art, movement and drama are integral parts
of the learning process for children.
